MyHairDo was created for afro-textured women to discover inspiration for their next hairdo.
News is the core content for GhanaWeb, but we also produce and curate infotainment. We see ourselves as a news platform
rather than a news site. AfricaWeb also offers third parties to publish certain content on its platforms in order to provide the
best experience to its visitors. With the AfricaWeb reporter, other parties can publish content, eg blogs in special designated
section on the AfricaWeb platforms.
In the case of MyHairDo, we will publish the hairdo content on GhanaWeb.com accessible for Ghanaian women, but we will
organize the functionalities as the inspirational journey by scrolling and finding a nearby hairdo in a separate app and specific
domain.

Hair care market
The market for hair care is very attractive in Africa, and for Afro-textured women worldwide. Bearing that in mind we invested in MyHairDo, an online platform focussing on hair for Afro-textured women from Ghana. With our knowledge on marketing solutions, tech based platforms & products and our large audience of news platforms in Africa we are contributing to the growth of MyHairDo. Together with the team of female entrepreneurs we are committed to bring this innovation from Africa to all African women in the world.

Spending hours a month on finding next hairdo
Choosing hairstyles that donāt suit their features

Having no online presence = no online customer acquisition
Answering phone calls during day for appointments = very valuable time

-Arrange your hairdo appointments and reservations.
